Favorite "Growing Up Pampa" Memories:

yes to Facebook.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I figure out ways to demolish and reconstruct the house we live in, one room at a time.
I'm also training for my first half-marathon. I've done a lot of shorter runs, but this will be the first one that's more than a 12K.
What did you want to do or think you were going to do when you finished high school?
Have a family.
Do you still see/talk to/hang out with any classmates? Who?
I keep in touch with Monty Schaub. We can be apart for years, and when we get together it's just like old times again. She's my best life-long friend. I live my pseudo-grandma dreams through her kids....
Update us on your siblings or parents that we might have known...
My sister, Sandi (Kay in school), lives in Grand Junction, Co. My parents are still in Pampa, living in the same house we grew up in. It's good to go home.
How do you see yourself in 10 years?
In ten years, I hope to have at least 10 marathon medals hanging on my wall. But I'm not betting money on it.
You certainly have my admiration for doing the marathons. I am recuperating from a back injury, but I'd like to start training to *walk* a marathon! My doctors say not yet! Booo!
Thanks for the birthday greetings. I'm spending this one in a hospital room with my mom. I've been here since the middle of July following her fall which resulted in brain injury. It was complicated last night by a heart attack. Please remember her in your prayers. Bobbye
